I'm so sorry to have been away for the past 12 days! I was away on an amazing all expense paid trip to the Mediterranean with Stampin' UP!! It was amazing and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity! I can't wait to share more photos of this once in a lifetime adventure with you this week!

I know that some of you may be looking at these cards and wondering how they could possibly be "Graduation" themed, but let me explain:) I finished Elementary School in 1988! I was just making the "Graduation" cards for some award winners in my Grade Seven class and decided that it would be fun to go with a retro 80's theme and share a little of my childhood with them:) The Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack could not have been more perfect! Can you spot the three gorgeous new In Colours show cased in this card????
I have to admit that I'm a little smitten with this week's sketch challenge as it was my creation:) It's funny that I often struggle to come up with a layout on my cards and yet I didn't struggle at all to come up with sketch. I guess it's because you're not worrying about colours or the stamps. Make sure to head over and join us this week! We'd love to see the creations that you come up with using this sketch! Join us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
I'm so sad to see my beautiful Blackberry Bliss ink pad, paper and ribbon disappearing! I always grow to love the new In Colours but this was definitely a favourite! The Simply Irresistible Specialty paper is awesome too! You can use it to create paper in any colour!
One of the fun cards we created at April's Technique Club! So sad to see this gorgeous Designer Series Paper disappearing at the end of the month... or even soon if it sells out! You can grab the gorgeous Botanical Bundle stamp set, framelits and Designer Series Paper right now before the paper is gone! (and the there is no longer a bundle deal on this stamp set and framelits in the new catalogue!)
After my preorder goodies arrived on Wednesday I snuck down for just a few minutes of "playtime" and whipped this beauty together in just a matter of minutes using the new Floral Affection Embossing Folders. I was seeing this as a perfect thank you card for weddings as you could do the card with our Whisper White Note Cards and envelopes and you could use the ink and flowers in whichever colour coordinates with the theme of your wedding. The rhinestones instead of the pearls would also be beautiful! There are two in the set... I'll hopefully create you a sample with the second this weekend:)
