We had such a fun night at club on Thursday. One of my fabulous friends and club pals, Pat, suggested that we have a monthly club challenge. We decided to start off with some sketch challenges, and as I'd just found a fabulous sketch, that I've used a couple of times this week, on the Freshly Made Sketches Blog, we thought we'd start with that. These are the gorgeous samples that my girls brought this month!

I really wanted to create an Easter card for this week's challenge, but unfortunately my OLD back is not cooperating with me and I haven't been able to sit/ stand/ breathe for the past few days without wanting to cry. Kept it to My Digital Studio as I can do this lying in bed:)
Ignore the funny face on little guy in the photo... they got dinosaur eggs that year for Easter and I think that it was his "dinosaur face":)
Make sure to check out the GORGEOUS samples over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week... then come play! I could really use some Easter inspiration!
This was one quick card! I've really had to make an effort to create some quick cards lately or I'd get nothing done at all. With the boys home for spring break, my priorities have quickly shifted and maximizing on kid time has been at the top of the list:) This card would be gorgeous with an embossed background too!

I've been a little under the weather for the past few days, but sneaking in a little creating here and there:) This was a card that I made a couple of days ago. I don't normally make birthday cards without a person in mind, but fortunately when I woke up this morning, there was an email in my inbox inviting one of my boy's to a friend's birthday party. This card will definitely do the trick:)
Isn't the new Summer Smooches DSP gorgeous???? It is from the upcoming Idea Book and Catalogue which will be released on June 1st!!!!!!! You can get a chance to purchase it in just 8 short days! Watch my blog for more details:)

Sorry for the late post today... just arrived home from Winnipeg lastnight. I really hope that you come and join us at Stampin' Royalty this week to participate in a fun sketch challenge. I know my plans for the next few days include a new attempt at a card now that I'm home with my supplies:)
First off I'd like to start by apologizing for my lack of posts, by the time you're seeing this card, I'm just a few hours away from being back home. I've been away for the past 6 days with my little boys, visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Winnipeg:) We were fortunate enough to leave behind the miserable weather back home and head off to an amazing 25 degrees celsius by our last day:) It was HEAVENLY!!!!!
It was fully my intent to post some My Digital Studio pages of the trip while we were away, but I managed to put my back out on day 2 and couldn't sit for any extended period of time:(
I really hope that you'll take the time to join us on this fabulous Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge this week... it is out of my comfort zone, but still a lot of fun!!!! I tend to use my markers, watercolor paper and a blender pen for mine. What's your favourite? Make sure to check out the samples created by the other design team members and then come and share your creation with us!

Good morning to all! This page just makes me smile to look at! Not only do I love the pics of Joe when he was 15 months old, but combine them with the colours and I melt!
I don't know about you, but the rainbow colours remind me of spring, and after the weather that we've been having here in Vancouver for the past little while I'm READY to see some signs of it:)
I really hope that you come and join us at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week. The theme challenge is rainbows, and I know that you'll just love the samples created by the other design team members:) I can't wait to see what you create:)
